See Noah Kahan lead fans in ‘poop pledge’
Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan joked with fans about proper bathroom etiquette at his shows.
Vermont musician Noah Kahan is already halfway through his record-breaking four-night stay at Fenway Park, and the first two shows were filled with special New England guests.
During the first of his four concerts on Tuesday, July 7, Kahan answered a pay phone call from Drake Maye, and the Patriots quarterback appeared on the stage screen with a pre-recorded message.
“I just wanted to welcome you to Boston, say what’s up,” Maye said in his video cameo. “I know Fenway is rocking right now. I’m here in the crowd. You’re the man. Go Pats.”
Wednesday, July 8 was no different, except instead of Drake Maye, it was a different Boston sports legend: David “Big Papi” Ortiz.
“Hey Noah, what’s going on? This is Big Papi,” Ortiz said in his pre-recorded message. “There’s one thing more special than being at Fenway Park. Daaaaaa Yankees lose. Go Sox!”.
With a one-day break before Kahan’s next Fenway concert on July 10, fans are speculating which other local celebrities could pop up. Here are some possible New England athletes Noah Kahan could answer a call from at his remaining Fenway shows.
Tom Brady
If Noah Kahan wants to continue on the trend of legendary Boston athletes like Big Papi, there is no more obvious choice than New England Patriots Hall of Famer and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady. While Kahan has publicly shown his support for the Buffalo Bills, he certainly still loves New England, and calling the Patriots’ greatest quarterback onstage would be a logical choice after calling their current quarterback.
Jaylen Brown
After his devastating trade to the 76ers, Jaylen Brown is probably the first-choice surprise guest for many Boston Celtics fans. However, the chances may be slim – Brown said he had “no clue” who Kahan was during a celebrity-naming challenge back in February of 2025.
Jayson Tatum
Of course, Kahan could also choose the remaining member of the iconic Celtics duo, Jayson Tatum. While Kahan and Tatum are not known friends, they were both named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list back in 2024.
Ilona Maher
Also on the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list with Kahan was fellow Vermonter and Olympic rugby star Ilona Maher. Maher has extensively talked about her love of Kahan’s music on social media, posting a TikTok at his concert back in 2022 and more recently, reacting to Kahan’s new album with her sisters in a June 9 episode of their House of Maher podcast.
Zdeno Chara
If Kahan wants to bring out a Boston Bruin, he could choose retired Hall of Famer Zdeno Chara. Back in December 2025, Kahan and Chara were both guests in a live episode of the “Men in Blazers” podcast celebrating the World Cup in Boston.
Keegan Bradley
Noah Kahan is friends with Keegan Bradley, a professional golfer from Woodstock, Vermont. The two are both involved with Boston Common Golf, for which Kahan is an investor and Bradley is a team member.
On Wednesday, July 8, Bradley and Kahan partnered with Boston Mayor Michelle Wu to announce Common Ground, an initiative dedicated to expanding access to golf through greater Boston.
