Love Island USA season 8 may have wrapped on Sunday, July 12, but Bombshell Jen Terry is finally dishing on her time in the Fiji Villa. The model-turned-reality TV personality hopped on the mic with Lauren, Rachel, and Mariah Smith for SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live on Radio Andy, where she chatted about her Love Island journey and her stance on some of the other islanders’ connections.
Of course, Mariah wasted no time in asking Jen what she thought about Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse’s “situationship,” despite them making it to the finale as one of America’s four favorite couples.
“The Zach hate, I don’t get, and I was there. I adore Zach. Everyone adores Zach. Zach is hilarious,” Jen admitted, adding that she’s not “locked in on that whole situation.”
She then hyped up the couple’s connection, saying, “Zach is obsessed with Kayda. I’m not kidding. He is obsessed with her. Always touching her, always hanging out, laughing together. They’re like little kids together, honestly. That’s why I’m confused. I’m lost. I’m like, ‘What are the fans seeing that I was literally there and not seeing?’ Because they do seem to really like each other.”
As for how she feels about Zach’s poorly timed jokes—including that “What if another Bombshell comes in?” punchline he pulled in the Hideaway with Kayda—Jen didn’t even know that was happening. Still, she came to his defense, adding, “They didn’t tell us that, but they’re always—I mean, maybe he says stupid shit. He’s also such a big joker. He’s definitely one of the funniest boys in there by far, so he’s always messing with her a lot, and then she gets like, ‘Zach! Stop!’”
Jen’s revelation comes after one of this season’s winners, Trinity Tatum, dropped a statement on her Instagram Stories in support of the other finalists, including Zach and Kayda, Melanie Moreno, Sincere Rhea, Aniya Harvey, and Carl Schmidt.
“Coming out of the villa one I want to say I’m very blessed and appreciative of the love & support everyone has given me,” she wrote, in part.

“With that being said I wanna say the hate & ignorant comments some of you guys are doing regarding zach is absolutely not okay and needs to stop it’s very disheartening and we are people just like everyone else. We genuinely have love for each other inside and out of the villa and he’s one of the most amazing people I’ve met so please have some empathy.”
Zach and Kayda have yet to weigh in on all the chatter, if at all, but they seem to still be smitten with each other. We’ll be right back here with more details as they come.
