Cardi B celebrated her daughter Kulture’s 8th birthday with a Care Bear-themed party and a photo shoot on a private jet
The rapper shared heartfelt birthday wishes on Instagram, calling Kulture her “real life bestie” and praising her kindness
The festivities included a custom cake, poolside moments and a visit to Universal Orlando with family and friends
Cardi B‘s daughter celebrated big for her 8th birthday.
On Tuesday, July 14, the Am I the Drama? rapper, 33, shared a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram, giving a glimpse into her daughter Kulture’s birthday festivities. In several of the photos, the newly minted 8-year-old posed on a private jet in a baby blue dress with matching gloves and sandals next to her Care Bear-themed multi-layered cake.
The doting mom also included a clip of her family and daughter’s friends singing happy birthday, Kulture taking pictures on the private jet, and posing near the pool.
“Happy birthday to my sweet beautiful first born @kulturekiari …just the most kind hearted girl in the world🎀🩷🩰 ..My real life bestie,” Cardi B wrote in her caption. “Shout out to @universalorlando A TIME WAS HAD !! Ooo and of course @thecakegirl for the amazing cakes 💙🧡💛🌈💚💜❤️.”
Cardi B shares her daughter Kulture, as well as son Wave Set, 4, and daughter Blossom Belle, 22 months, with her estranged husband Offset. The “Bongos” artist is also a mother to an 8-month-old son with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Despite her success, she still wants her children to aim higher. Last October, during her appearance on Jay Shetty‘s On Purpose podcast, she opened up about raising her children to be “better than me.” The mom of four said that she doesn’t want her kids to be perfect, but she wants them to be a “100 times better version” of her.
“It’s discipline. It’s gotta be in you, and you have to be better than me. I want you to be better than me,” she said. “There’s things that I cannot do that I want my kids to do.”
“I want you to be smarter than me,” she added. “I want you to be — not perfect because you cannot make your kids perfect and you don’t want you to put pressure on your kids [to be] perfect — but I want you to be a 100 times better version than me, and I’m gonna [instill] that in you and you’re gonna be mad and you’re gonna be crying, but you’re gonna appreciate that one day because I wish the things that that I put on my kids that somebody put in me when I was younger.”
It’s no secret that Cardi B loves her children. However, there is one thing that the proud mom won’t change for them: her fashion sense. While speaking with E! News back in May, the rapper revealed that becoming a mom hasn’t changed her style, but she does make some adjustments when she’s participating in certain activities with her children.
“Motherhood has not changed my style honey,” she said, adding, “They haven’t changed me for s–t.”
The rapper continued, “Well, I will say though, I’m not going to like go to school with a see-through shirt or like with a shirt [and] my nipples are rock hard.”

Cardi B went on to say her daughter Kulture is almost as in love with fashion as her mom. She told the outlet that her eldest child is always in her closet, jokingly adding that she’s “about sick of it.”
“This girl is always in my closet, girl. Like I’m just I’m about sick of it,” she said. “But she already knows the rules. Like, don’t mess too much with Mommy purses. Don’t touch my purses too much. My clothes, whatever, … [and] my shoes, whatever. But don’t touch Mommy’s purses because you already wrote on one of them.”
The “I Like It” rapper also noted that Kulture oftentimes leaves a mess whenever she goes into her closet, adding that she may have to think of a way to teach her a lesson about cleaning.
“Every single time that she goes to my closet, she leaves a mess,” she shared. “Maybe that’s what I’m going to start teaching her. Like, if you want to play in my closet, you got to clean. You got to clean it up. And maybe that will teach her how to be more, you know, domestic.”

As far as her daughter’s fashion sense, Cardi B shared that her 8-year-old has a “very vibrant” style. She also revealed how she dresses her little ones, who are still young and haven’t developed their own sense of style just yet.
“She loves colorful things, like she loves graphic things. She likes rainbows. She likes flowers,” she said of her daughter Kulture. “She’s a very vibrant, vibrant girl. She likes to dress like very pretty, very girly. She’s like a girly girl.”
