Zendaya has revealed the sweet way Tom Holland broke the news to her that she had been cast in The Odyssey.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (15 July), the 29-year-old said that she was “so excited” when she learnt that her husband, Holland had secured the role of Telemachus.
Zendeya, who said she is a huge fan of director Christopher Nolan, took glimpses at the script whilst Holland was reading from it.
She recalled that one day, after Holland had returned from a meeting with Nolan, he asked her to read the script again but “with Athena in mind”.
Realising she had secured the part, Zendaya told Fallon that she “freaked out” and that she found it “so special” that Holland was the one to break the news to her.
