- Stichting RBBR is transforming a former EKI rubber factory into a music venue.
- Stichting RBBR launched a successful fundraiser last week, July 14th, to help open a new music venue in De Rubberfabriek, a cultural hub in Nijmegen Nieuw-West.
The Voordekunst fundraiser surpassed its goal of €20,000, raising a total of €22,725. The funds will go towards lighting and sound equipment, toilets, a ventilation system, an outdoor space and bar.
The non-profit foundation is planning on opening the venue in autumn this year, with programming championing electronic and experimental sounds.
Stichting RBBR was founded by Julius Brom, Janna Kröse and Jouke Dokman, and is supported by local Nijmegen groups.
