Paul Anthony Kelly has officially bid his John F. Kennedy Jr. look adieu.
The actor — who shot to stardom as the late bachelor in the FX biopic, “Love Story,” alongside Sarah Pidgeon, earlier this year — was spotted donning a fresh hairdo on the set of “American Horror Story: Penthouse” in New York on Monday.

Dressed in a graphic T-shirt and trousers to start, Kelly strode through Washington Square Park with eye-catching bleached tips. The stark color marked a major shift in his aesthetic, after having kept clean-cut, chocolate-colored curls for the last few years. But the switch seemed to tease the identity of a new character, one he’d be playing in the upcoming season of the FX cult-favorite horror series, cocreated by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy, the same visionary behind “Love Story.”

Not totally dissimilar to the uniform he sported as John F. Kennedy Jr., his unidentified character was dressed in a long leather trench, a white dress shirt, a maroon tie and snake skin boots next to series regular, Sarah Paulson, who was wearing a black- and cream-colored cloak. With shades shielding his eyes and his curls noticeably straightened and stretched out, Kelly looked almost unrecognizable sitting on a bench in the middle of the park.

The highly anticipated release of “American Horror Story” Season 13 has already generated signficant buzz online as franchise legends Paulson and Emma Roberts have been spotted filming with Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Alex Consani and Avantika Vandanapu throughout SoHo in recent weeks. Very little information has been revealed about the plot of the upcoming installment aside from the fact that the cast of “Coven,” Season Three, will be reprising their roles.
