Jordan ended up marrying Bachelorette lead JoJo Fletcher in 2022 (they welcomed a daughter in December 2025), but first, he had to make it through the hometown date. When the ABC cameras arrived at Jordan’s family home in Chico, Calif., Fletcher was introduced to his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, along with brother Luke Rodgers. Aaron was noticeably absent.
“It pains both of us, like, not to have that relationship [with Aaron] — we miss our brother,” Jordan said during his Bachelorette hometown date.
Aaron offered some brief insight into the estrangement in the 2024 documentary Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, revealing that he started feeling a sense of “separation” from his family in high school. Now, however, they appear to be on the road to reconciliation.

The Aaron Rodgers: Enigma documentary offered fans an unfiltered look into the football star’s life, especially his family relationships. Aaron explained that, as a teenager, he began to question his family’s religion, which was “very rigid in structure.” This was one factor that contributed to the family’s eventual estrangement.
“At times when you have some dysfunction or some separation in your family life, you have to kind of reparent yourself and give yourself what you didn’t get or wanted to hear more of when you were a kid,” he said. “I think for me, I just wanted to hear, ‘I’m proud of you.'”
Aaron said he eventually found a way to become his “own parent.”

“Me and Aaron don’t really have that much of a relationship. It’s just kind of the way he’s chosen to do life and I’ve chosen to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother,” Jordan shared during the 2016 episode. “Yeah, it’s not ideal, and I love him. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has, the demands from people that he has. I don’t have hard feelings against him. It’s just how things are right now.”
Years later, Aaron claimed in the documentary that he was “never” asked to appear on the “stupid dating show.”
