Slime Fest at The Ethos
615 E Mesa Ave. | 6-11 p.m. | SlimeFest returns! Join The Ethos for two feature films, a smattering of shorts featuring the weird, the wild, the funny, and the freaky, with filmmakers from across Colorado and around the world. This is a free event.
Festival Fridays with The Martini Shot
Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, 210 N. Santa Fe Ave. | Doors open at 6 p.m., music starts at 7 p.m.| The Martini Shot is a fan-favorite Southern Colorado band with horns up front, performing original music and lively covers for festivals, concert series, weddings, private events, and national act support across Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and throughout Colorado. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.

Goth Night at The Ethos
615 E. Mesa Ave. | 7-11 p.m. | Become the creature of the night you were meant to be and commune with the darkness at this event featuring DJ Garnet. Cost is $5 online or $10 at the door. Patrons 16 and older only after 9 p.m.
Speed Jigsaw Puzzling competition
Pueblo Community College Student Center, 900 W. Orman Ave. | 12:30-4 p.m. | Pueblo Puzzleworks presents a speed jigsaw puzzling competition for solo puzzlers. Who can finish a 300-piece jigsaw puzzle first? Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. No experience is necessary. The cost is $23, and your registration fee includes the speed puzzle, which you will get to take home with you.

Haley Jones Live in Concert
Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd. | 6 p.m. | Join the Family Worship Center for a concert in a night of worship music and faith. Haley Jones is a Christian artist from Jacksonville, Florida, whose music is rooted in redemption, resilience, and a calling she once tried to outrun. The concert is free, and all are welcome.

Pueblo Municipal Band concert at Pueblo Community College
Wells Fargo Outdoor Amphitheater, 900 W. Orman Ave. | 6:30 p.m. | The Pueblo Municipal Band’s summer concert series kicks off at PCC. The concerts are free and open to the public, featuring performances by the band on Sunday evenings. In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to the Hoag Theater.

Bar & Craft Night at The Ethos
615 E. Mesa Ave. | 5-9 p.m. | Bring your latest craft project (or try one of The Ethos’) and have fun hanging out with people and working on your project. Do you have to be good at anything? No. Do you have to know what you’re doing? Also no! Just show up with or without a craft project, and get crafty. There will be tools, art supplies, project starters, and a resident artist handy for help. This is a free event.

Silent Book Club & Amateur Drag Night at The Ethos
615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6-8 p.m. & 7:30-10 p.m. | If you like reading books in bars, come commune with like-minded folk just looking for the same. Readers of all genres are welcome to come relax, enjoy a beverage and a snack, and just make a night of going out to read. This is a free monthly event. Also join the Ethos for its very first amateur drag night. Think of it like an open mic, but for drag performers. Come out and watch the performances, or strut your stuff on stage. Open to folks who have never done drag and newbies just starting their drag journey. Tickets are $10.

Marty Stuart at Pueblo Memorial Hall
1 City Hall Place | Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. | Country music legend Marty Stuart brings his signature sound to Pueblo Memorial Hall. A five-time Grammy Award winner and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Stuart has spent decades preserving and shaping country music. Family Game Night & Beginners Resin Class at The Ethos
615 E. Mesa Ave. | 5-9 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. | Bring the kiddos and play one of The Ethos’ games, or bring your own for a change of scenery. Meet and mingle with other parents and kids while you enjoy special drink pitchers (kid-friendly), and some delicious family snacking and meal deals! This is a free event.Also join instructor Emily Gradisar for an interactive workshop covering the basics of resin pouring. Each student will create their own resin plaque, which can be picked up the next day. Advance tickets only, $35 per student.

Stitch-n-Bitch at The Ethos

Ok, maybe just start with coming to hang out with your crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing, and yarn spinning projects, while you chat with like-minded humans about the nonsense of the day. This is a free monthly event.

‘Nature’s Palette’ exhibit at Steel City Art Works
311 1/2 S. Union Ave |5-8 p.m.| Steel City Art Works will host an opening reception for “Nature’s Palette” reflecting on the shifting light and fleeting beauty of the season. The show will hang all month and the gallery is open free to the public from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday.
