Did D4vd release a new song on Apple Music? Truth about ‘I Did It’ amid ongoing Celeste Rivas case

A song briefly appeared on D4vd’s official Apple Music account over the weekend, prompting widespread online speculation before the audio was removed.

The incident occurred as the singer awaits trial in Los Angeles over multiple criminal charges.

According to reports, the track, titled “I DID IT…”, was not authentic and appeared to have been uploaded without authorisation.

The song featured cover art showing an aerial image of the Hollywood tow yard where a Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was found with the dismembered body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez in its boot last September.

The report said the fake audio closely imitated D4vd’s vocal style and included lyrics directly referencing Hernandez, describing her as “the girl with my name tattooed on her chest” while making other personal references.

The track quickly spread across social media, with some users initially interpreting it as a confession despite Burke having pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

At the time of publication, the audio had been removed from Apple Music, although the song title and cover artwork reportedly remained visible on the artist’s page.

Burke is currently being held in custody while legal proceedings continue in Los Angeles.

He faces charges including murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 and unlawful mutilation of human remains. A preliminary hearing in the case is ongoing.
