Julia Roberts was in attendance to watch her niece, Emma Roberts, say “I do.”
TheAcademy Award winner, 58, was in Idaho on Saturday, July 25, as Emma, 35, wed Cody John during an outdoor ceremony, photos obtained by Page Six show.
Julia, 58, was joined for the wedding festivities by her husband, Danny Moder. The couple was also photographed in Idaho ahead of the weekend nuptials, per DeuxMoi.
Julia and Emma — who is the daughter of the Ticket to Paradise actress’ brother, Eric Roberts — have a close bond, referencing each other in interviews over the years and exchanging birthday wishes and sweet posts on social media over the years.
Speaking with Variety in July 2024, Emma admitted that she often winds down from work by rewatching some of her aunt’s classic films, including My Best Friend’s Wedding and America’s Sweethearts.

For her wedding day, Emma wore a flowy white gown custom-made by Monique Lhuillier, per Vogue. She paired it with a see-through shawl and a long, white veil, and Emma later wore an archival after-party dress from the designer as well.
John, 36, for his part, wore a brown suit as the couple got married.
Emma and John’s wedding comes two years after the actress announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram in 2024.
Alongside a photo of the pair smiling together as she showed off her new ring, Emma wrote in her caption: “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone ❤️.” (The Screen Queens alum’s mother is Kelly Cunningham.)

John, who has appeared in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga and The CW’s In the Dark, confirmed the couple’s romance in August 2022 when he posted a photo kissing Roberts on Instagram with the caption, “Sweet sweet.”
The American Horror Story actress later made their relationship Instagram official that same year when she shared a photo of herself and John holding hands.
“#2022 I loved you ❤️ happy new year hotties!” she captioned the post shared on New Year’s Eve.
