While we know it may be too early to talk about Christmas, the Royal Collection Trust has announced some very exciting festive news about Buckingham Palace that we couldn’t wait to share.
For the first time ever, a Christmas pop up will open at the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace this festive season, which will transform part of the 200-year-old stables into a glittering festive boutique.
While the Mews will be closed for winter, it will be filled with the Royal Mews Christmas Shop, which will run from the 14 November to 5 January, and be open to the public.
The festive pop-up shop will showcase the festive ranges of official royal gifts, food and drink from the Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household.

You’ll also be able to sip on delicious festive drinks and eat nibbles inside the pop-up too, adding to the royal festive experience.
Shoppers can browse anything from gorgeous Christmas tree decorations handcrafted in India using traditional embroidery techniques to the official Royal Collection Trust’s chinaware.
New gifts that can also be found at the pop up include small bottles of gin infused with botanicals hand-picked from the grounds of royal residencies including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
You can even shop the trust’s newly launched Property of the Royal Kitchen range, which is a variety of kitchen accessories inspired by the Great Kitchen at Windsor Castle – the oldest working kitchen in the country.
Not only is the festive pop up a lovely day out this upcoming season, it’s perfect place to pick up some royal-approved gifts this Christmas.
