NFL star Aaron Rodgers on Wednesday slammed his ex-girlfriends as “relevance-seeking” opportunists and liars, and while he didn’t name them in the process, many of the famous women Rodgers has dated have certainly had a lot to say about him in the past.
Rodgers touched on his dating history during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” noting that he tied the knot last year with a woman he met in 2017, whom he has only identified as Brittani.
“I knew that there was something crazy special about this, and I wanted to be with her,” said Rodgers about his wife. “And she would make funny comments like, ‘I would never live in Green Bay’ and ‘I don’t want to be a player’s wife.’ She’s just not a public person.”
Rodgers then launched into a plea for his exes to “stop lying” and “move on,” saying that after his now-wife moved away, “I got myself into crazy town.”
The quarterback has dated a lot of high-profile names, including NASCAR racer Danica Patrick, “Newsroom” star Olivia Munn and Golden Globe nominee Shailene Woodley, most of whom have spoken in not-so glowing terms about their time with the Pittsburgh Steeler.
Patrick has described her past relationship with Rodgers as “emotionally abusive,” while Woodley said it was “beautiful” but “not right” — and Munn openly suggested there was an unhealthy dynamic in the family that contributed to their split.
“I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked or talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram social media posts,” Rodgers told McAfee. “I never really wanted to live a public life.”
He continued, “I mean, if you look at the saga with my family, for years it was one-sided. They were making shots in the media, saying bullshit. I never said anything until it got to the point where I’m like, all right, enough is enough.”
Rodgers told McAfee that “the narratives have just gotten a little bit ridiculous” about who is at fault for the various breakups of his past. He kept their identities private, but said, “To some of those, I want to say, just fucking move on. It’s been years and years and years.”

“And I’ve dealt with clinically bipolar, I dealt with depressed, relevance-seeking, I dealt with people that wanted to search out other possibilities before they could commit to me, and then they go on TV talking about how I ruined their lives and all this shit,” said Rodgers.
He continued, “And I just want to say, just move on with your life. Stop lying about me.”
Rodgers has been an outspoken supporter of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., seemingly accused Jimmy Kimmel of being on the Epstein list and was skewered last year for mocking a child he almost hit during a celebrity golf tournament.
“I have a super small circle,” he told McAfee about his mysterious wife. “It’s getting smaller by the minute. And the people that are in that tiny circle, they know, and they’ve met her, and they love her. And the people that aren’t, that’s just the way it is. Like, that’s life.”
