London-based producer Darren J. Cunningham has been making experimental dance music under the name Actress for about two decades now, and he’s nowhere near done. Last month, Actress released “Live By You,” a collaboration with the grime artist CASISDEAD. It’ll appear on Radical Frame, the new album that Actress announced today.
Radical Frame drops in September, and it’s also got an appearance from the Manchester producer Rainy Miller. The new single “Overchord” starts out as a spare, mournful piano ballad before giving way to a big house thump and some glitchy-scratchy production touches.
