ADÉLA SHARES NEW SINGLE “RED BOTTOMS” ALONGSIDE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

SOLD OUT FIRST HEADLINE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR LAUNCHING SEPTEMBER
12 JUNE 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Following the announcement of her first-ever headline tour, which sold out in minutes, ADÉLA shares her new single and music video “Red Bottoms.” The latest offering from the burgeoning pop star is a stark departure from the bold sound that launched her onto the world stage. On “Red Bottoms,” she leans into her penchant for her clever lyricism, opening her heart for an intimate reflection on a draining relationship while also demonstrating her musical range.
Released alongside a fiery new Emma Drew Berson-directed music video, “Red Bottoms” finds the 22-year-old dwelling on a toxic relationship, wrought with mixed signals, inconsistency, and not feeling safe to express her feelings for fear of abandonment. On her first heartbreak ballad, ADÉLA laments her fear of opening up to her partner and instead uses the classic red shine of a Louboutin to illustrate her discontent. “Red Bottoms” sees the singer-songwriter dexterously use a worn-out red sole as an analogy for the effect his lack of affection has had on her and the overwhelming feeling that her flaws will hinder his ability to be emotionally available.
This past April, ADÉLA kicked off what is sure to be a stellar year with the release of her single “KGB,” co-produced by Blake Slatkin, Dylan Brady of 100 gecs, and The Dare. The single was paired with a stunning music video shot in the LA Theater, drawing on her extensive professional background as a ballet dancer. The song’s lyrics underscore her uncompromising vision as she battles an antagonist throughout the historic theater, as well as her quest to make it out of Slovakia and become the artist she has emerged as since her debut last year.
Less than a year ago, the Slovakia-born artist released her debut EP, The Provocateur, via Capitol Records. Drawing on ADÉLA’s lived experience and journey to achieve pop stardom, each track on the project tells the dramatized story of a young woman willing to do what it takes to achieve her dreams, as ADÉLA recounts several experiences, ranging from betrayal, defiance, and exploitation, while making it all feel larger than life.
Since then, she’s garnered praise from outlets such as Vogue, Interview Magazine, The FADER, Harper’s Bazaar, NYLON, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, i-D, and PAPER Magazine, the last of which declared that her “fame comes at no surprise.” With this acclaim in tow, ADÉLA quickly sold out her debut solo live performances in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Just a few weeks ago, she wrapped her opening set for Demi Lovato’s North American tour, where she teased a handful of unreleased songs that made waves on socials.
ADÉLA will embark on her 21-date headline tour this September, which will include stops in Toronto, Boston, Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, Nashville, Dallas, Los Angeles, two dates in Mexico City, and a show in London this August. As her rapidly growing fanbase anxiously anticipates her next body of work, it’s clear to see that the sky is the only limit for the rising pop star.
