Luke Combs may be a country music superstar, but apparently, he’s not the only one that his kids listen to. Judging by the latest family birthday party, it appears the 35-year-old “Where the Wild Things Are” singer’s youngest son, Beau Lee, is a fan of Alan Jackson.
So much so, the child recently celebrated his second birthday in Jackson fashion, with a theme that referenced the legendary hitmaker’s 1992 summer smash “Chattahoochie.”
“We partied way down yonder on the “Chatta-two-chee” for Beau’s birthday! 🤠🌊☀️🎉” a caption reads alongside a video shared between Combs’ wife, Nicole Combs, 33, and the Nashville Event Planner Lumi Accents’ Instagram page.
In the clip, followers get an eyeful of all of the thoughtful details that went into throwing Beau’s epic toddler party. With the “Chattahoochie” song playing in the background of the clip, folks get to see tables set up outside in the back kyard with pale pink and white striped tablecloths, shade umbrellas, floral table centerpieces, and wooden chairs. A ginormous boat-prop features kid-sized life jackets, cowboy hats, cowboy boots, and plenty of folded towels for a fun-filled boat ride.
The blue boat and photo backdrop are flanked by a yellow and purple balloon display for anyone eager to take a picture together, while a humongous slide leads to a white ball pit decorated with donut floats and balloons. Another part of the entertainment is a blow-up pool turned into a makeshift fishing hole and an airbrush artist.
Small details of the festivity include bobber-themed cups, gummy worm snacks on plates, and adorable napkins that tie everything together. Lucky attendees to the toddler party were able to snack on several menu items, including snow cones, cookies, cake, sodas, juice, fruit, and more.
Nicole Combs Previously Shared the Theme for the Couple’s Older Son’s Birthday
It appears Combs’ wife is quite the pro at planning her kids’ birthday parties, as she recently unveiled the couple’s elder son, Tex Lawrence’s, third birthday bash, sharing that the family went with a race car theme for his big special day.
Combs and Nicole, both from Nashville, Tenn., tied the knot in the fall of 2020 after a two-year engagement. The loving spouses wed in an intimate ceremony in southern Florida, while surrounded by family, according to PEOPLE. In 2022, on Father’s Day, they welcomed Tex into the world, with Beau coming a little over a year later in Aug. 2023, making them parents of two under two.
