Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is already taking a toll on Alix Earle. This star initially thought that Week 1 was bad. But then, Week 2 rolled into town and asked Week 1 to hold its beer. Now, Alix is riding the struggle bus, complete with bruises and a few breaks in tow. However, her spirit and head remain all in (for now) as this competition advances into its second week of training and live performances, since she hopes to avoid the first double elimination of Season 34.

Currently, Alix is sitting pretty in the top fourth spot on DWTS. Her dancing skills are evident. But what some of her fans might not realize is that her injuries are also very apparent, and they are located all over her exhausted body.
On TikTok, a bathrobe-clad Alix shared, “I have bruises on my collarbone. My toenail came off during practice today.” As this star prepared to draw herself a bath, she further noted, “I thought week one was hard — the stamina, the stuff we’re doing, I’m like, ‘I don’t even know.’”
Regardless, Alix is aware that she signed herself up for this mess. However, there are now “some tricks and things that I just can’t do, but I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ll do it,’ ” she added. Alix also admitted that she is “starting to doubt myself a little bit, but I’m going to keep trying,” this persistent star exclaimed. And we, for one, are cheering her on, broken toenails and all.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It streams on Hulu the next day.
