The Big E has a lot to offer, but for many, it’s the promise of outrageous, ginormous, Instagram-worthy, delicious food that keeps them coming back to the fair in September.
MassLive’s Nick O’Malley — with his cast-iron stomach, adventurous palate and knee-slapping food reviews — has spent the past 12 years eating his way through and reviewing the food and drinks offered at The Big E.
O’Malley knows the West Springfield fairgrounds inside and out, thanks, in part, to the Eater’s Guide map he creates every year. He knows where to find the latest pickle-flavored something-or-other and which spots have the best, newest thing battered and deep fried.
