Filming continues on American Horror Story season 13, and photographers captured new images of the girlies on location in Manhattan’s SoHo district. The mother energy is off the charts.
Returning stars Sarah Paulson (the Supreme/Cordelia Goode), Emma Roberts (Madison Montgomery), Frances Conroy (Myrtle Snow), Gabourey Sidibe (Queenie), and Leslie Grossman (Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt) strut their stuff along the cobblestone streets with newcomers to the cast Avantika Vandanapu (Not Suitable for Work), model Alex Consani, and Grace Dumdaw (And Just Like That).

Additional photos also captured actor Charlie Carver, who notably starred as Adam Carpenter in season 11’s “NYC” story.
The production has been filming for months in the city for season 13, which fellow star Kathy Bates has described as an “all-star season.” The group of witches at the center of season 3 (subtitled Coven) really became the connecting thread to other parts of the AHS universe, notably the settings of season 1’s Murder House, season 5’s Hotel, and season 8’s Apocalypse.
Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Jessica Lange are also back, alongside franchise newbies Ariana Grande and Paul Anthony Kelly. Series head Ryan Murphy recently revealed a first look at Kelly, a breakthrough performer as JFK Jr. in Love Story, in the new season.
John Waters, the filmmaker behind Pink Flamingos and the original Hairspray movie, revealed that he too is a part of the ensemble. “I can’t say what role, but I’ve got a big new part in American Horror Story,” he told the Baltimore Fishbowl.

Announced Thursday, American Horror Story: 13 (as FX is currently titling it in press materials) will premiere Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FX and Hulu.
Some of the stars came out for an upfront presentation back in May to help promote the show, while Murphy has been revealing new looks on social media. April brought a look at Lange on set, suggesting the actress could be playing her Murder House role of Constance Langdon. Murphy followed up with sneak peeks at Paulson and Roberts in the parts they originated on the Coven season.
Peters told the Hollywood Reporter in January that Murphy “assembled the cast from all the different seasons. It’s sort of an alumni, and we’re all getting back together to do this greatest-hits season.”
