The 2026 FIFA World Cup is in full swing, with men’s soccer teams from around the globe venturing to North America. The matches will take place in California, New Jersey, Texas, and other cities across the continent, and, naturally, the international event kicked off with opening ceremonies in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Toronto.
On June 10, Italian opera legend Andrea Bocelli performed DNA, the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside David Guetta and EJAE.
Fans got to see the performance on Instagram just hours later.
Many applauded the performance.
“Anyone else get goosebumps watching this !!!” one person wrote in the comments. “Andrea Bocelli He’s just a star 🌟 loved by all the world 🌍 ❤️,” another agreed. “Best World Cup song by far. Makes me so emotional!! ❤️,” a different follower added.
Andrea reflected on being on the international stage with a hopeful message.
“Performing at the Opening Ceremony of the @fifaworldcup was a privilege I will treasure, made even more meaningful by sharing that moment with @ejae_k and @davidguetta,” he wrote on Instagram on June 12. “Thank you to @fifa, Marco and all the @balichwonderstudio team, everyone who worked with such dedication behind the scenes, and to the wonderful audience who welcomed DNA with such warmth. It’s our DNA.”
Congrats!
