In a surprising move, Annapurna Interactive launched a live showcase tonight, pulling back the curtain on three promising new indies in the works from the publisher at TGS 2025.
Annapurna Interactive revealed that they would be hosting a live showcase just last week, and today it aired to indie gamers globally as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025). Annapurna Interactive is known for delivering Indie titles en masse to gamers everywhere, and at the showcase tonight for TGS 2025, they had three prominent upcoming indie-developed titles on hand to let fans behind the curtain and see what’s coming next for the publisher. The showcase was bite-sized and ran for approximately 15 minutes, and it can be seen below in its entirety.
The Head of Games at Annapurna Interactive, Leanne Loombe, said, “From the wonderful puzzle adventure D-topia, to the catchy, innovative turn-based musical RPG People of Note, and a beautiful love letter to the classic action-adventure genre with Demi and the Fractured Dream, these games embody our vision of supporting world-class developers who are pushing the boundaries of artist storytelling,” on the three reveals during TGS 2025.

D-topia
If fans were looking for a puzzle-adventure game from Marumittu Games, they’re in luck with D-topia. Players will assume the role of a maintenance worker (coined a Facilitator) at the D-topia residential facility. This is where players will address citizen concerns by solving puzzles and uncovering secrets of a seemingly perfect society that is also managed by A.I. D-topia is a puzzle-adventure title at heart, focusing on exploration and intriguing choices that uncover the humanity of this ‘perfectly happy’ world as the narrative progresses. It will be released by Annapurna Interactive sometime in 2026.
People of Note
On the flip side, if indie game fans wanted a turn-based RPG musical from Iridium Studios, People of Note could fit the bill. People of Note is a bold musical narrative adventure, told through the lens of a turn-based role-playing game. The game is a full-fledged musical in disguise as an RPG. Not only is its delivered story portrayed through choreographed musical sequences, but the battle system and game mechanics are based on an interactive sequence of musical expressions and abilities performed by the cast of characters. People of Note will release digital-only for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
Demi and the Fractured Dream
The last Indie title revealed by the Annapurna Interactive showcase at TGS 2025, is an action-adventure title from Yarn Owl called Demi and the Fractured Dream. Players will embody Demi, a voidsent born into the world of Somnus, who is seeking to escape his cursed fate.
Demi is guided by a mysterious voice and aided by the acolyte Mergo as he embarks on a perilous journey across diverse lands, all in the name of fulfilling his destiny. Demi and the Fractured World is a tribute to classic action-adventure games that focus on hack and slash combat mixed with puzzles and platforming, that also tells a compelling story. Demi and the Fractured Dream will release for PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
