The Golden Globes party is already in full swing.

After the 2026 nominations were announced by Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall in a Dec. 8 livestream, celebrities began celebrating their nods, flooding social media with their excitement.

“Thank you so much Golden Globes for this tremendous honor and recognizing this performance a second time,” Wicked: For Good’s Ariana Grande, who is up for Best Supporting Female Actor, wrote in an Instagram Story Dec. 8. “I’m moved and grateful. There are truly no words.”

And One Battle After Another’s Teyana Taylor—who also earned a Best Supporting Female Actor nod alongside Ariana, as well as The Smashing Machine’s Emily Blunt, Sentimental Value’s Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Elle Fanning and Weapons’ Amy Madigan—called the nomination an “early birthday present” in a statement to E! News.

“I’ve dreamed of this for so long, but God’s timing…whew, it hits different,” Teyana wrote. “This morning’s call felt like divine confirmation that every step, every lesson, every battle had purpose.”

The upcoming award ceremony, which honors the best performances in television and film will once again be hosted by Nikki Glaser from the Beverly Hilton, Jan. 11. Top nominees across the wide-ranging categories include Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which earned seven nominations, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which nabbed nine, and Netflix’s Adolescence, which scored five.

On top of some of the best films and television series earning huge honors at the upcoming ceremony, it’s also a wonderful night out for the stars. In years past, Timothee Chalamet—who scored a nomination in the Best Actor-Musical or Comedy category for Marty Supreme—has brought along girlfriend Kylie Jenner for a rare public night out.

Meanwhile, other stars like Jennifer Lawrence have come out of the ceremony with a viral moment. Back in 2024, the No Hard Feelings star joked as the camera panned to her for her category, “If I don’t win, I’m leaving.”

All in all, it’s an evening that even the stars do not want to miss. Keep reading for every reaction to the 2026 nominations…
