Ariana Grande kicked off her “Wicked: For Good” promotional tour on Monday night in New York City by returning to her tried and true method of dressing ways with a pink look by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood.
Styled by image architect Law Roach, Grande turned to Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood’s spring 2025 collection for a special screening of the sequel to 2024’s Oscar-winning “Wicked.” Grande, who plays Glinda in the film, channeled her character’s penchant for pink, donning two shades of the tone in her voluminous dress.

The dress consisted of a pink plissé long-sleeve corseted top and a buffalo skirt in fuchsia pink silk. The skirt included subtle patterning and was designed with a cinched waist for added silhouette definition. The Oscar-nominated actress paired the dress with black heels.
As for accessories and glam, Grande went minimalist. The “Positions” singer’s blond hair was slicked back into a tight chignon, a nod to the popular fall trend. Grande attended the screening sans statement accessories, keeping her designer frock the centerpiece of her look.

“The shapes were sleek and sexy with plunging necklines and shimmering sheer fabrics,” Zhang wrote. “Meanwhile, the daywear selections gave boss-lady energy, with the best example being the white, double-breasted ensemble on Irina Shayk.”

Kronthaler, Westwood’s widower, developed his role as a designer alongside Westwood for several years. It wasn’t until 2016 when Westwood acknowledged Kronthaler’s role and influence with the Gold Label. Since then, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood has served as the official moniker for the collections.
“Wicked: For Good” follows Glinda and Elphaba, played by Cynthia Erivo, as their relationship is tested amid growing tensions and the arrival of a girl named Dorothy in the land of Oz. The film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical hits theaters Nov. 21.
