Author to speak about writing process

WARRENTON — The Warrenton Community Library’s “Library After Dark” Author Talk series continues 4 p.m. Dec. 13 with Brittany Sweet. The Oregon Coast author will share about her writing process, read excerpts from her work and answer questions.
Sweet’s work includes poetry and children’s literature. Her titles include “Bye Bye Buoy,” “Encore for Eleanor” and “I’ll Carry You Forever.” They combine coastal imagery with themes of courage, identity, and self-acceptance. Her poetry collection, “Coffee Over Dead Friends,” highlights grieving in all forms.
Her books are available at the Columbia River Maritime Museum and Rascals Gift Shop in Seaside. Her website is at www.sweetbookshelf.com. Refreshments provided by Gaetano’s Market and Deli will follow the talk at 5 p.m.
