DURANGO, Colo. (KREX) — On Thursday, Nov. 6, the Durango Independent Film Festival (DIFF) will feature a Best of Fest 2025 screening at 7 p.m. at the Durango Arts Center, located at 802 East 2nd Avenue.
With doors opening at 6:30 p.m., the event will showcase award-winning short films and audience favorites from the 2025 Durango Independent Film Festival, which took place earlier this year from March 6 through March 9.
Tickets will be available at the door or online and will cost $20. All proceeds will benefit DIFF, a nonprofit organization that has hosted an annual short film festival showcasing independent films from across the nation and the world for 20 years.
A silent auction will also be occurring during the event with an array of items, experiences and gifts for sale.
“This is one of our favorite community events of the year,” said Carol Fleisher, executive director of DIFF. “It’s a chance to revisit the festival’s most beloved films, connect with friends, and help support the upcoming 2026 Durango Independent Film Festival, happening March 4–8, 2026.”
