Awards Season Never Ends for TV: ‘The Pitt’ vs. ‘Severance’ and ‘The Studio’ vs. ‘Hacks’ Rematches Are This Winter’s Frontrunners

I often chuckle when someone says, ever so innocently, “You must get a breather after the Emmys!” Hilarious! In the TV biz, it’s always awards season. And as we say farewell to the 2025 Emmys, we’re moving right on to the winter awards cycle: in particular, the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards.

Of course, most of the upcoming Globes and SAG races look to be a repeat of the Emmy face-offs we just saw. At the Globes, “Severance” and “The Pitt” will likely battle it out once more in drama while “The Studio” and “Hacks” go at it again in comedy.
