Isaac Holman has released his latest Baby Dave album on New Music Friday – stream ‘billy’ right here.
Isaac Holman announced his return to the solo venture Baby Dave in April, prepping his first LP since the restart of Soft Play two years ago.
He described the project as, ‘deeply therapeutic’, when setting the new album ‘billy’ for release on May 1st.
“I have pretty severe ocd,” he said. “It makes me do things I don’t want to do and think about things I don’t want to think about.”
It’s torturous. It’s exhausting. At times it’s hilarious. It makes absolutely no sense. This is a song is about ocd and the video portrays the illogical compulsions that come with it. The fucked up wizard is ocd making people do things against their will.
