Bad Bunny’s show in Puerto Rico did not go as planned after the singer faced a setback midway through his concert.
What began as a high-energy event took a downturn when the rapper injured his knee while performing, leaving fans both shocked and worried.
The unexpected incident was caught on camera and quickly circulated across social media.
In a video shared on TikTok, the “Monaco” hitmaker energized the crowd with a powerful performance during his 30-date residency “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” (“I Don’t Want to Leave Here”) at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
Unfortunately, halfway through the set, the 31-year-old landed awkwardly while hopping across the stage, leaving him limping.
Fans expressed their concern and urged the singer to prioritize his health.
“Papi, be careful, your knees,” one wrote.
“and that “ahhhyyy” after busting his knee cap,” a commenter mentioned.
“Bro, that knee almost dislocated,” a user added.
“I thought he was joking, but that knee did buckle…ouch!!!” a fan remarked.
While some comments voiced concern, others couldn’t help but poke fun at the incident.

A fan even compared him to Shakira, who is in her late 40s and still performing crazy dance choreos.

Before the show kicked off, the rapper shared how excited and comfortable he was to return to the stage in his homeland.
“I’m in Puerto Rico, I’m home, having fun and, to be honest, I don’t want to leave,” he said in an Instagram post as translated by Billboard, following his announcement regarding his residency, adding “Thanks to music and the love you give me through my music, I’ve had the privilege of traveling to sing in different places of the world. I appreciate and love to do it. There are places I for sure will return […] and some I’ve never been to but would like to visit, like Brazil and Japan. And there are places I haven’t been to in a long time, like Italy, London, Spain.”
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, kicked off his historic thirty-show residency on July 15, which showcased a mix of his old-time hits like “Si Estuviésemos Juntos,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “Me Porto Bonito,” and “Callaíta” along with new tracks, especially from his latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
Interestingly, it is not only a celebration for his fans but also boosts the country’s tourism.
Since his residency attracted fans from around the world, it was also expected to bring major financial benefits to Puerto Rico, with spending on accommodations, restaurants, transportation and shopping, projected to generate around $200 million in additional revenue for the island, according to Forbes.
