After years of anticipation, Fox has officially greenlit a reboot of the legendary lifeguard series Baywatch (via Variety).
Fox Entertainment and Fremantle have ordered a 12-episode straight-to-series order. With that, the iconic show that defined beach culture and swimwear fashion in the 1990s is making a modern comeback. Anderson, known for her role as C.J. Parker and her signature red one-piece swimsuit, is unlikely to return.
