BBC Strictly Come Dancing launched on Saturday evening, with 15 new celebrities being paired up with the professional dancers.
BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced they’ve already identified this year’s champion as the fresh series kicks off.
Saturday night (September 20) saw presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly introduce 15 fresh celebrities to the dance floor.
La Voix, known off-stage as Chris Dennis, becomes the inaugural drag performer to take part in the main programme following Tayce’s victory in last year’s festive edition alongside Kai Widdrington.
The 45-year-old has featured across numerous television programmes throughout the years, including making it to the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, where judge Alesha Dixon branded her ‘a force to be reckoned with’ reports Wales Online.

La Voix has been matched with professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, and Strictly enthusiasts are already convinced they’ll claim the glitterball trophy.
Taking to X, one viewer penned: “I absolutely adore this pairing “a bit like your fringe” #strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”
Another declared: “So we all getting La Voix to Blackpool? She’s going to make this whole season watchable. Mother. #Strictly #SCD2025.”
A third added: “La Voix is already my winner! This pairing is really going to bring the fun this year and I can’t wait. ‘That’s the one I didn’t want’.
“I love La Voix so much #strictly”, commented another.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goldstein also seems to be emerging as a firm favourite amongst Strictly watchers. The 23 year old is a pioneering model, actor and influencer who, in 2023, made history as the first model with Down syndrome to feature on the cover of British Vogue.

She has also graced numerous other magazines and starred in major campaigns for brands such as Gucci Beauty and Adidas.
On Saturday evening, Ellie was teamed up with professional dancer Vito Coppola, prompting fans to flood social media with their excitement about the duo’s future on the show.
One fan gushed: “I love Ellie already #Strictly”, while another posted: “Ellie’s going to be brilliant #strictly.
“Ellie and Vito….this was the pairing I was hoping for. #Strictly”, chimed in another.
