Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie should keep their royal titles despite the deepening scandal surrounding their father, a PR expert has warned — saying that removing them would create a fresh controversy rather than putting the existing one to rest.
Lynn Carratt, said that the sisters should not be made to pay for their father’s actions. “Stripping them of titles would risk creating public backlash,” she said. “Their roles as royal princesses and as private individuals carving out their own careers and identities remain separate from Andrew’s controversies.”
She warned that any move against Beatrice and Eugenie’s status would backfire. “Removing them could create more headlines for all the wrong reasons and inadvertently draw attention to the very issue they have no part in,” Carratt said.
