2026 looks like being a big year for new label-imprints, whether they’re joint ventures between entrepreneurs (or artists) and bigger music companies, or simply the latter’s strategic expansion.
We’ve got one of each to report on today. Starting with Aztec, which is a partnership between Believe and music exec Az Cohen – known for his role at 300 Entertainment and its Sparta Distribution subsidiary, as well as managing Post Malone in his breakthrough years.

Cohen’s team will handle A&R and artist development, with Believe on board with infrastructure, marketing and audience-development tools.
Elsewhere, Hybe has revealed its new label, which is called ABD and will be “dedicated to girl group production”. It’s short for ‘A Bold Dream’ if you’re wondering.
The new label will reveal its first group in the second half of this year, overseen by Sung Soo Han, who played a key role in the rise of Seventeen, as well as other K-Pop artists After School, Iz*One and TWS.
