Bug Hall’s name might ring a bell for anyone who grew up watching The Little Rascals. He’s back in the news, though not for reasons fans would hope.
According to documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, April 13, the 41-year-old was charged with failure to appear for a court date back on December 31, 2024. The original issue dates back to October 2024, when Hall was hit with a traffic citation for not having liability insurance.
The arrest is the latest development in what has been a turbulent few years for the former child star. Hall left Hollywood in 2020 after being arrested for allegedly huffing air duster cans during a visit to his parents in Weatherford, Texas, which he’s spoken openly about. He was booked on a misdemeanor possession charge, though he told The Daily Mail back in January he faced no charges.

The relapse came after 15 years of sobriety, and Hall said Hollywood’s high-pressure environment had contributed to struggles he felt were largely swept under the rug.
Rather than return to the entertainment industry, Hall went off the grid. He told the outlet that he has taken “a vow of poverty” and relocated his family (wife Jill and their five children) to an 80-acre plot near Mountain View, Arkansas, where he plans to build an off-the-grid home.Beyond The Little Rascals, Hall also appeared in Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, The Stupids, as well as TV shows including Castle, Masters of Sex, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
