On Saturday, Selena Gomez shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram timeline of a trip with her girlfriends, including Paige Reed, Vanessa Walker, and pop singer Haven. The group appears to be at some sort of southwestern resort home with palm trees, mountains, and wide green lawns.
In the pics, Gomez is hanging out in the living room, playing Twister and Old Maid, making penne pasta, and enjoying the gorgeous scenery with her friends.
But not everyone is happy about the situation. In her comments, husband Benny Blanco jumped in to share exactly how he feels about his wife being away. The music producer simply wrote, “come home.”
The couple does seem to spend most of their time together, so a weekend away probably feels like a big deal. Blanco and Gomez were married on the last weekend of September in Montecito, California. Gomez shared many photos of the event, including her numerous white wedding gowns from Ralph Lauren.
The big event was star-studded, with Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars in attendance, including Martin Short and Steve Martin. She was also joined by bestie Taylor Swift.
In August 2025, Gomez talked about meeting Swift in an interview with Therapuss when they were still teens. They were both dating members of the Jonas Brothers, who they remain friends with now.
“I dated Nick, and she dated Joe,” she said. “She and I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other because it was really sweet. I was about 15. She was about 18. And that’s when it was the crazy curly Taylor. She had all these bracelets that went all the way up.”
She added, “So at that age, we became best friends, bonded over the breakup, as girls do. Then we just stuck around for all the ups and downs that came after. And here we are now, 16 years later.”
