This week, Billboard’s New Music Latin poll — curated with key recommendations by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — features a number of new songs and albums, including Nicky Jam’s “FKU,” Yorghaki with his first solo album Antes De Que Sea Tarde, Ozuna’s new single “Mi Yo De Antes” and more.
Jasiel Nuñez, an emerging música mexicana artist, is back with the release of two new singles: “Bobo Me Tienes” and “Suave.” Both songs paint a picture of different perspectives in a love story, through completely different rhythms and beats: one being more mellow and personal, while the other invites listeners to get up and dance.
“Bobo Me Tienes” maintains a romantic essence with a piano instrumental and a deeper tone in Nuñez’ voice. The track sustains a more identifiable sound in the spectrum of música mexicana. In “Suave,” the artist showcases his versatility and ability to convey a similar message with sounds that embrace a more lively, upbeat energy built around electronic-influenced instrumentals and production.
Meanwhile, artists such as Baby Rasta y Gringo, Brray and Saúl el Jaguar y El Bebeto also dropped new music this week.
