Beyond The Pale unveils the first look at this June’s arts lineup, with artist‑led programming taking centre stage across the Valley. This year’s arts and family programme will feature more than 75 artworks and events, with the full reveal landing in April. Early highlights include Shane Daniel Byrne’s Comedy Shithouse, a who’s who of alternative Irish comedy; Steo Wall presents The Pavee Club, showcasing outstanding talent from the Irish Traveller community; We Are Griot host a special festival edition of their ferocious spoken word event Talkatives; Outstraight Records bring their high-octane hip-hop takeover to the paddock; and Burning Circus debut a new dedicated area packed with headline fire shows, flow workshops and DJ sets. Bang Bike: Analogue Bubble Bath returns as the much‑loved battery‑powered pop‑up party, while the festival’s after‑dark world expands with cult spectacle EGG Cabaret, Climbwallsweird, Boolaboom, and sizzling club night TENDER.

Arts programme director Jenny Jennings, renowned co‑creator of acclaimed theatre company THISISPOPBABYcomments “Special commissions and events remain at the heart of Beyond The Pale with Una Mullally’s Grianstad: The Trip, an immersive audio journey inspired by the land and myth of St Kevin, and Undercurrent, Ireland’s first bespoke festival flag commission created by Amyrose Bryan. Paahto & The Bull, John Frances Flynn’s new band, is also announced to spearhead an incredible Puc Fada lineup. These early teasers hint at the scale and ambition of the programme that stretches from circus and cabaret to theatre and spoken word, offering a tantalising taste of what’s to come in April’s full reveal.”

Beyond The Plate also returns with Ali Dunworth, one of Ireland’s most celebrated food writers and curators, at the helm and a new theme for 2026, The Spice Bag Edition, celebrating the global influence on Irish food through tastings, collaborations, and food and drink storytelling. Three of Dublin’s most exciting restaurants join the programme, with pre‑booking for festival‑goers opening in the coming weeks. Ranelagh’s Host brings primal, fire‑led cooking and generous shared plates; Reggie’s, the cult Rathmines pizzeria, brings its signature pies to the festival; and Ibíle serves bold West African flavours and spice‑driven dishes designed for sharing. Capacity for these sit‑down dining experiences is limited, with registration now open for first access before bookings go public via itsbeyondthepale.ie.

The Wicklow festival continues to elevate its boutique experience with luxury glamping, pre‑pitched bell tents, saunas, cold‑water dips, and the return of the Acushla wellness area, whose full programme will be announced in the coming weeks. A new karaoke pop‑up debuts in the main arena hosted by official charity partner Dublin Simon Community, alongside the return of the charity’s Beyond The Trail, with over half of this year’s places already snapped up following last year’s Wicklow Way hike that raised €19,000.

Weekend camping tickets are now on sale at www.itsbeyondthepale.ie  and Ticketmaster with instalment plans available until March 31st while allocations last.
