Susan Boyle has been gifted a jacket from Timothée Chalamet after he hailed her ‘one of the greatest living Brits’.
The two-time Oscar nominee, 29, surprised fans by revealing his admiration for the iconic BGT finalist during the UK prom trail for his hugely hyped new movie Marty Supreme.
The Hollywood actor has been sending out a jacket inspired by the film to celebrities he considers to be true greats. So far NFL superstar Tom Brady, singer Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner have made the list.
Now Susan, 64, finally has one of her own after Timothée previously said she too was worthy of owning the garment.
After receiving her Marty Supreme jacket, she told the BBC: ‘Thanks so much for the kind words once again Timothée.
‘All the very best for the film, looking forward to seeing it on Boxing Day and thanks for the jacket, it fits like a glove!’

During an interview with the BBC last week, Timothée reeled off some British stars he would consider gifting the jacket to.
‘Oh man, what a great question,’ he responded, before listing Lewis Hamilton, Victoria and David Beckham and the rapper Fake Mink.
His final choice was Susan, which shocked and delighted his fans in the UK.
In the face of laughter from the interviewer, Timothée doubled down on his choice, replying with a straight face: ‘She dreamt big. She dreamt bigger than all of us.’
‘Who wasn’t moved by that [story]? I remember that like it was yesterday. That was like the advent of YouTube, you know?’
The Scottish singer responded with a gushing Instagram post shared on Wednesday.
Posting a screenshot from the interview alongside a picture of Timothée, she wrote: ‘This has been so incredibly touching to read. I’m very flattered, @tchalamet.
‘Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me.

Susan is preparing for her return to the limelight after six years away from music.
In May she shared a photo of herself during a ‘wonderful’ and ’emotional’ day in the recording studio, revealing she is working on new music.
Susan, from Blackburn in West Lothian, suffered a stroke in 2022 which left her struggling to speak or sing.
Having suffered one stroke, it meant she was vulnerable to another, so her management team had to carefully manage the pace of her return to public life.
The singer also has diabetes and was warned by doctors during the pandemic she had a high chance of catching coronavirus.
It’s been 16 years since she was catapulted to world stardom by the TV show Britain’s Got Talent.
The album named after her breakthrough song I Dreamed a Dream became the world’s best-seller of 2009.
Susan also made UK music history by having three successive albums debut at No 1 in less than two years. To date, she has sold 25 million records.
