Ronald Biggs, the extraordinarily larger than life Great Train Robber turned media celebrity, will be the subject of a six-episode bio crime drama, “Biggs – the ‘Biggest’ Thief of the Century,” produced by João Daniel Tikhomiroff’s Mixer Films, one of Brazil’s most important production companies.
To make it, Mixer is teaming with top Brazilian creative talent: director Fabio Mendonça, who helmed Prime Video’s “New Bandits,” and Elena Soarez (“The House of Sand”), who will serve as head writer.
Produced by João Daniel Tikhomiroff, with Michel Tikhomiroff serving as creative executive producer, “Biggs” is set between the early 1970s and the mid-1980s.
