Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni met in a New York court on February 11 to discuss a potential settlement in the “It Ends With Us” lawsuit.
Lively alleged Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set of “It Ends With Us.” After filming, she claimed, his team, alongside production company Wayfarer, engaged in a smear campaign against the actress.
Their legal dispute is set to go to trial on May 18, 2026, giving them a few more months to continue their negotiations. “There’s always a chance,” Freedman said. However, he wasn’t sure when or if those talks would continue.
On Wednesday, Lively and Baldoni met at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse in accidentally matching outfits. The “Gossip Girl” alumna wore a muted green suit with an oversized blazer and loose trousers. The blazer was layered over a pink button-up shirt, with an olive-green striped shirt on top.
Similarly, Baldoni wore a deep green overcoat over a white t-shirt and gray pants. He popped on a salmon pink scarf and looked cheery as he entered the New York office area.
He was accompanied by his wife, Emily Baldoni, who wore a cream turtleneck sweater under a long, brown overcoat.
Emily was dragged into the legal drama, without being accused of wrongdoing, after Lively accused the actor of allegedly showing her a video of his wife’s home birth.
Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, was also mentioned in the lawsuit. Reynolds was allegedly present during an on-set meeting to hash out Lively’s concerns about the dynamic. However, Reynolds was not present at court with Lively.
Wednesday’s meeting was the first time the Lively and Baldoni met face-to-face in court since the lawsuit was filed in December 2024.
Previously, Lively met privately for a deposition hearing in July 2025. However, Baldoni was not present, and the 300-page document was sealed by order of the judge.
