Benny Blanco gushed about his new wife, Selena Gomez, as he shared pictures from their big day.
The music producer took to Instagram to share an array of snaps from their big day with their followers after the couple got married over the weekend.
Benny admitted his adoration for his bride in a post titled “I married a real-life Disney princess.”
However, many social media users used the caption to make cruel jokes about Benny. One wrote, “This is a Shrek movie in real life.” A second added, “It’s like Beauty and the Beast.”
Many did jump to his defence, with one user gushing: The caption makes them so much CUTER, I would fall so HARD for someone that CALLS ME a Disney princess.” A second echoed, “This is the cutest, Benny, more points.”
In the upload, he shared a picture of them lounging on a white sofa as he snapped a photo in a mirror opposite them, with Selena wearing her stunning wedding gown, and Benny dressed in his tuxedo suit.
A second image shows Selena’s hand resting on Benny’s as they show off their rings, and a third shows Selena cuddled into Benny in bed with her eyes closed as he snaps the photo of her.
The pair tied the knot on September 27 in a lavish wedding near Montecito, California.
The ceremony was attended by 170 guests, including Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton, and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Martin Short and Steven Martin.
Following the event, they shared a string of posts with fans showing off Selena’s stunning custom Ralph Lauren gown and snaps of the newlyweds posing together with their opulent jewelry.
Selena’s mom also took to Instagram to gush about the big day, and in her post, she revealed who walked Selena down the aisle.
Mandy Teefey admitted that it had been her father – Selena’s grandfather – who gave her daughter away to Benny.
She shared, “What a perfect celebration for the most kick ass couple I know!” She wrote, “The evening couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect! Absolutely flawless!”

Selena’s grandad, David, was chosen to walk the star down the aisle due to their close relationship and the fact that he didn’t get a chance to escort Mandy as she eloped.
The singer also reportedly lived with her maternal grandparents for years, and they featured on her cooking show, Selena + Chef.
The decision to have her grandfather walk her down the aisle meant neither her father, Ricardo Gomez, nor stepdad Brian Teefey was tasked with the honor.
