Daredevil: Born Again has received an exciting renewal update ahead of Season 2.
Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ in March 2025. Created by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman, and Chris Old, the MCU series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
Production on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 began in February 2025. The new season does not yet have an official premiere date, but it is expected to arrive at some point in March 2026.
What is the new Daredevil: Born Again update?
Marvel has now officially greenlit Daredevil: Born Again for a third season, per IGN.
“In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3, and we start shooting next year,” Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum said.
There was briefly some concern that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 might be the last entry in the series, as Cox recently referred to Matt Murdock’s next chapter as the “final season.” Shortly after that, however, D’Onofrio said that there’s a “good chance” there will be a Season 3.
Plot details for Season 2 remain under wraps at this time. It is known that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in the show, though how much she’ll be featured remains unclear at this time. Additionally, Scream’s Matthew Lillard has been cast in an undisclosed role.
The cast also includes Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, and Genneya Walton as BB Urich, among others.
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again is currently available to stream on Disney+.
