‘Brave New Wonders’: new demo to debut during Steam Next Fest

‘Brave New Wonders’, a steampunk epic from Canadian developer City From Naught Inc., will be releasing a revaped demo as part of Steam Next Fest taking place 15th to 22nd June 2026.

Ambitious pioneers of a post-apocalyptic world have the opportunity to rebuild civilization from the ruins of the past in a groundbreaking factory automation strategy simulation, the likes of which we’ve never seen before! Watch the Steam Next Fest trailer below:

The 3-4 hour demo takes place across America Island and Europe Island, following the journey of a beginner pioneer through a mix of tutorials and gameplay. Players will learn how to use the game’s innovative text-command system to direct automatons, build and manage factories, explore ancient ruins, develop foundational technologies, and travel between islands in search of lost knowledge from a forgotten civilization.

Dive headfirst into the wild, mysterious world of ‘Brave New Wonders’, where you command the gameplay with your own words. Lead a tribe of clever automatons across shattered islands drifting through a forgotten sky, turning the scraps of extinct civilisation into sprawling, living machines that mine, build, fight, and evolve under your command.
