A Brazilian bodybuilder with millions of followers was found dead in his apartment.
TMZ reports that Gabriel Ganley died at 22. A friend discovered him unresponsive in the kitchen of his São Paulo apartment over the weekend. While investigators found no visible signs of a struggle or violence at the scene, they are still investigating the death, which they have classified as suspicious and sudden. No cause of death has been confirmed.
His death was confirmed by the sports nutrition brand Integral Médica over the weekend.
Integral Médica marked the loss with an Instagram tribute and shared a photo of Ganley posing with smiling fans. “Today, we lost far more than a talented and dedicated athlete. We lost a sports influencer who inspired thousands of young people daily with his energy, discipline, and authenticity,” Integral Médica said. The brand also wrote, “Ganley left his mark wherever he went. His charisma, his presence, and his passion for life will live on in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him and walking alongside him.”
At the time of his death, Ganley had built a substantial online presence: 2.3 million Instagram followers, 1.3 million TikTok fans, and 403,000 YouTube subscribers.
