Exclusive: Brendan Hines, Cush Jumbo, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville, Lexi Minetree, Lily Collias and Tatiana Maslany have joined Osgood Perkins’ The Young People. The new additions round out the ensemble cast, joining previously announced Lola Tung and Nico Parker. Perkins is directing from a script he wrote.

Neon will release the film theatrically in the U.S., represent international sales rights and co-finance with Lyrical Media. Producers include Perkins and his partner Chris Ferguson for Phobos and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones for Range.

Plot details are currently under wraps, and production is underway in Vancouver.

The Young People is the first project under the first-look deal between Neon, Perkins and his production banner Phobos and marks the latest collaboration following the success of Longlegs, which was the year’s highest-grossing independent film at $75 million domestically, and The Monkey, which marked Neon’s second-biggest opening weekend at the box office.
