Brooke Hogan is setting the record straight about her relationship with her Rock the Block teammate Scott McGillivray.
“People looooove to speculate,” the singer, 37, wrote in the caption of an April 28 Instagram post. “There’s been a lot of people commenting on posts of me and Scott suggesting we have a ‘thing’ going on.”
She adds: “And honestly, it’s just mean and hateful. (But sorry we’re so funny and adorable on camera😌).”
“So for those people — I’ll just leave you with these pictures of Scott and my husband,” she writes. “If you’re worried about anyone, worry about my hockey player husband stealing his sweet Canadian heart.”
In the carousel of photos, McGillivray, 48, is seen cutting up food and raising it to Hogan’s husband Steven Oleksy’s mouth. Hogan and the former NHL player, 40, wed in 2022.
In the pictures, the men also pose with the couple’s twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, whom they welcomed in January 2025.
In the comment section, McGillivray, an HGTV veteran who has also hosted Income Property and Vacation House Rules, said: “I never fed Brooke like this! Just Steve 😉.”

Hogan and McGillivray are teammates on season 7 of Rock the Block, which premiered April 13. For the first time, the new season is pairing top HGTV designers with celebrity partners as they compete to renovate identical homes in Las Vegas with a $275,000 budget.
The team’s chemistry is working to their benefit. Hogan and McGillivray secured a win in the season’s first and third episodes, cementing themselves as early frontrunners.

Hogan and McGillivray are facing off against three other teams, including Survivor champion Kim Wolfe with her former competitor and friend Chelsea Meissner; Good Bones star Mina Starsiak Hawk with Super Bowl-winning tight end Vernon Davis; and Battle on the Beach mentor Taniya Nayak partnered with 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey.

McGillivray married his wife Sabrina McGillivray in June 2008, in Vaughan, Ontario. Together, they welcomed their first daughter, Myah, in January 2012. The next year, their second daughter, Layla, was born in October.

Back in June 2023, the HGTV star reflected on the couple’s 15 years of marriage.
“Has anything changed in 15 years? Well… Yes. And I couldn’t be happier. Not to brag, but this is the best investment I’ve ever made! Happy 15th babe!” he wrote on Facebook.
