Brooke Shields ran into a seating snafu while guest-hosting “Jenna & Friends” on Monday, and live TV captured every second of it.
Jenna Bush Hager immediately sounded the alarm that “something’s wrong” as Shields took a seat and was just inches above the top of the table.
“Why am I at the kids’ table?” Shields said, as she jokingly said to Bush Hager, “I get it, it’s your show, I get it.”
“Is this the first time in your whole life you’ve ever felt not tall?” the “Today” show host said, before telling her guest cohost that a team member was going to get her a new chair.
“I’m being really difficult, I know ― I’m so sorry,” Shields quipped.

While the chair mishap was entertaining, many in the “Jenna & Friends” comments section remarked on how much they loved Shields as a cohost.
“I went through a week of being on the show, and you know, I did all my homework, I take everything very seriously,” Shields said during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” back in 2019, as she said the role went to Jenny McCarthy.
“I was like, OK, she’s a friend, but you want one or the other,” the model said, adding that “The View” was “going for something different.”
