Bruce Springsteen and actor Jeremy Allen White will sit down with late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel next week.
White is playing “The Boss” in the upcoming biopic “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” which was partly filmed at several locations throughout the singer’s home state of New Jersey.
The film will premiered in theaters on Friday, Oct. 24.
Springsteen, 76, and White, 33, will appear together on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday, Oct. 2, which will be taped at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, Asbury Park Press reported.
Rock band Living Colour and singer Ivan Neville are also guests on the Thursday show with Springsteen and White.
Springsteen’s last appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was in 2019.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was temporarily suspended by ABC after Kimmel commented on the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk on his Sept. 15 episode.
After receiving backlash from the celebrities and the pubic, ABC announced that the show would return.
“This show is not important,” said Kimmel on Sept. 23. “What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this.”
Kimmel continued, “You understand that it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man. I don’t think there’s anything funny about it.”
The show’s upcoming schedule includes:
- Monday, Sept. 29: Ryan Reynolds, Josh Johnson, Public Enemy
- Tuesday, Sept. 30: Stephen Colbert, Kumail Nanjiani, Reneé Rapp
- Wednesday, Oct. 1: Emily Blunt, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Geese, Big Daddy Kane
- Thursday, Oct. 2: Jeremy Allen White, Bruce Springsteen, Living Colour, Ivan Neville
- Friday, Oct. 3: Tom Hanks, Spike Lee.
