The globally famed group based on seven members went on a hiatus in 2022 to complete their mandatory military service.
South Korean men of ages 18to 28 are obliged to serve the military for 18-21 months.

The seven boys will release a new album on March 20, almost four yeas since they went on hiatus in June 2022.
Previously, band’s leader RM had already told the fans about the comeback saying he has been “waiting for this moment more desperately than anyone”.
Meanwhile, the eldest member Jin, who also ventured into solo music previously said “I greeted you all as a soloist in 2023 and 2024, but I can finally greet you as part of a team again.”
The group’s lead dancer J-Hope said about the comeback “Finally, it’s the year that we will all be together with you!!”
All members have completed their military service by 2025 and will now return as a seven-piece band.
