The Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center has often operated in the shadow of other bigger performing arts centers in the Memphis area, but for the last three decades the venue has carved its own niche in town with an eclectic array of entertainment. The 2025-26 season continues that tradition.
The Buckman — located at the St. Mary’s school in East Memphis — kicks off its 28th season Sept. 14 with a performance by folk-guitar icon Leo Kottke and follows with seven other shows.
