September 19 is shaping up to be one of the biggest days of the year for rap fans. Cardi B kicks off the fall season by delivering her sophomore album Am I The Drama? after seven years of anticipation. The 23-track project, released through Atlantic Records, blends Cardi’s trademark unfiltered attitude with a wide range of collaborations, including Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, Lizzo, Summer Walker, and even Janet Jackson. The LP was preceded by two viral singles, “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.” Notably, the record also features two of her past hits, “WAP” and “Up.”
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus expands the tracklist of her ninth album with the release of Something Beautiful (Deluxe). The updated edition adds two high-profile collaborations—Fleetwood Mac legends Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood on “Secrets,” and David Byrne of Talking Heads on “Lockdown.”
On the pop front, Madison Beer returns with “Yes Baby,” the lead single from her upcoming third studio album. Following the success of Silence Between Songs and its Grammy recognition, “Yes Baby” marks the start of a long-awaited new era that the singer has called her most ambitious yet.
