Wreaths Across America honors fallen veterans at Christmas.
The annual Wreaths Across America event began in 1992. Since then, volunteers have laid thousands of wreaths to honor veterans each Christmas.
Four Winds Casinos will host a New Year’s Eve celebration with live entertainment at Four Winds New Buffalo and Four Winds South Bend.
The festivities will include party favors and live entertainment available at various venues within the casinos, including C Bar, Kankakee Grille and Copper Rock Steakhouse, according to a community announcement.
At Four Winds New Buffalo, the entertainment lineup on Dec. 31 will start at 6 p.m. with Dan Reisen at C Bar, followed by DJ H2/Wayne at 10 p.m. Kankakee Grille will feature PS Dump Your Boyfriend at 10 p.m., while Copper Rock Steakhouse will host Imphormal at 7 p.m.
Four Winds South Bend will offer a diverse range of performances, beginning with The Distance at 4 p.m. at C Bar, followed by Angelo Cicco at 8 p.m. and My 80’s Band at 11:30 p.m. Kankakee Grille will present Boucher & Morgan at 6 p.m. and Frank Ruvoli at 10 p.m. Copper Rock Steakhouse will feature Matt Martino at 7 p.m., and the Living Room within the South Bend Hotel will showcase Vijay Tellis-Nayak at 7 p.m.
A special New Year’s Eve party will take place at the Ribbon Town Conference and Event Center in South Bend from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. General admission tickets are priced at $70 per person, with VIP tickets available for $125. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster. The party will include dancing, party favors, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with New Year’s Eve drink features and desserts. DJ JellieFish will provide entertainment at 9 p.m., followed by NAWTY at 9:30 p.m. VIP ticket holders will have access to a special area with soft seating, a private bar and hors d’oeuvres.
Four Winds South Bend is located at 3000 Prairie Ave., and Four Winds New Buffalo is located at 11111 Wilson Road.
